ACXPA Privacy Collection Notice

ACXPA (ABN 58 817 433 774) (ACXPA, we, us) collects and handles your personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles and our Privacy Policy (acxpa.com/privacy-policy/).
1. Why we collect your information and how we use it
We collect your personal information so you can:
- use acxpa.com, acxpa.com.au and their subdomains (Website), including our AI Tools;
- buy and use an ACXPA membership, including ACXPA AI Credits;
- receive the benefits, products, services and offers that come with it;
- register for and attend ACXPA live sessions and events, including through platforms such as LinkedIn Events; and
- receive information about our products and services.
We also use it to improve our services, produce de-identified benchmarks, publish testimonials (with your permission) and tell you about changes to our services or terms.
2. Information we collect that you may not be aware of
We use cookies, Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel to run the Website, understand how it’s used and measure our advertising. If your membership comes from a Business or Vendor membership, its main account can see your logins, the tools and pages you use, and your AI Credit use.
3. Information from other people
We collect your information from you, unless your organisation gives it to us so you can receive a membership through it. We don’t collect sensitive information about you without your consent.
4. Marketing
We may send you news, offers and information about our products and services. You can opt out at any time through the unsubscribe link in our emails, at acxpa.com/member-preferences/, or by emailing privacy@acxpa.com.au. We won’t use sensitive information for marketing without your consent.
5. If you don’t give us your information
You may not be able to become a member, use some tools, take part in events or forums, publish content, or get an answer to your enquiry.
6. Who we share it with
Our related businesses CX Skills and the ACXPA Supplier Directory; Vendor members, only if you ask us to; and service providers that help us run ACXPA, such as our website host, AI providers, email, payment and accounting providers, and live session platforms. We don’t sell personal information.
7. Overseas disclosure
Some of our service providers are overseas, mainly in the USA. They include our AI providers (Anthropic and OpenAI), email service (AWeber), payment processor (Stripe), accounting software (Xero), analytics (Google) and live session platforms. Our Privacy Policy lists them.
8. Access, correction and complaints
Our Privacy Policy explains how to see or correct your information and how to complain about how we’ve handled it. You can also email privacy@acxpa.com.au.
